Bhaumik Sampat: Great to be a part of Rajshri's SAMRAT and CO

Actor Bhaumik Sampat, a discovery of 'Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj', made an impressive debut with SADDA ADDA, and is now back with his next, Rajshri's SAMRAT and CO, produced by Kavita Barjatya and directed by Kaushik Ghatak.
When we asked Bhaumik about his first film and also about bagging a major role in Rajshri Productions (P) Ltd's SAMRAT and CO, the talented actor spoke his heart out, "I will always be proud of my first film, SADDA ADDA, which may not have scored at the box-office (for various reasons), but was a hot favourite on YouTube. As far as SAMRAT and CO is concerned, I am very happy about being a part of the Rajshri banner."
Sharing his experience of bagging Inspector Khalid's role in SAMRAT and CO, Bhaumik told us, "You know I was so excited at being a part of a Rajshri venture that I told them that I don't even want to hear the script, let me just sign. But, being the nice people that they are, they very clearly told me about my exact role. Rajshri is such a disciplined, organized and systematic production house that it is one of a kind experience for any actor; established or newcomer. As far as the film is concerned, SAMRAT and CO is a very serious detective film, no light and funny investigations here. It is a prim and proper detective film. While Rajeev Khandelwal essays the title role, I play a no frills police inspector," concludes Bhaumik.
