Bibiru Oki confesses to relationship
6 Aug - Japanese comedian Bibiru Oki revealed that he is in a serious relationship with idol group Folder 5's former member, AKINA, on his television show.
According to Tokyo Hive, the host of "PON!" confessed to his relationship with AKINA in the 30 July broadcast of the show, bashfully adding that the news should not be surprising considering that he is single.
When asked about why he fell for her, Oki explained that he could count on her as she was an earnest person even though she has been through more hardships and unpleasant experiences than him.
"Isn't it fine for me to have this kind of happy news as an ordinary single man?" he asked when he made the announcement.
Oki and AKINA were believed to have met during a dinner party organised by comedian Amano Hiroyuki from the Kyaeen duo. They kept in contact with each other after hitting it off pretty well during the party and the couple is said to have enjoyed their driving date together.
