Big Bang Gets Scared Silly in Japanese Variety Show

Who knew the almighty Big Bang, especially Daesung, would be so scared of ghosts?

On May 1, Big Bang appeared on Fuji TV’s talk variety show Catherine. In order to answer a question asking which would be scarier between the Scream Machine (the name of a ride in Japan) or the Haunted House, the Big Bang members actually visited an amusement park to test the two out.

In the Haunted House, the member that wasn′t scared turned out to be Seungri. He first entered the House with G-Dragon, and walked ahead saying he would “protect” G-Dragon. To the ghosts that jumped out at them, Seungri even teased, “You’re working hard. Come see our concert in May.”

Next, Daesung, T.O.P. and Taeyang entered the House. Daesung especially made everyone laugh by taking little baby steps with a fearful expression on his face. He fell down while running away from a mummy that jumped out at him, and continued to scream his lungs out. To this the MCs commented, “Because you’re screaming, you’re making me more scared.”

Korean netizens who saw the broadcast left comments such as, ‘Seungri isn’t scared′, ′Daesung’s so cute’ and ‘Is this the Japanese version of [the old variety show] Don’t Look Back?’

Big Bang will be embarking on its Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 from May 17-18 in Aichi, and will continue on its tour in Yokohama Arena, Osaka Castle, Saitama Super Arena and Fukuoka’s Marine Messe with 130,000 fans.
