Chapman To rumoured to seek medical help in US
23 Jun - In April this year, Hong Kong movie actor Chapman To was diagnosed with a strange disease, which was later identified as Millen Fisher's disease. Due to his illness, he had stop working since March and had told outsiders including the Hong Kong media that his condition is under control through his close friends Joey Yung, Fiona Sit and his wife, Kristal Tin.
According to Hong Kong media, Chapman and his wife Kristal are now in United States to seek medical assistance, but the couple have only told their friends that they are celebrating their wedding anniversary as a decoy.
The report says that he found a Rinpoche (a high-ranking Lama) to cure his disease at a Zen Buddhism Centre in Seattle, U.S. Although his celebrity friends said he is now recovering, but it is understood that the "strange disease" had already affected his vocal cord function.
Informed sources said he is in fact recovering, but he seemed to have no energy to speak powerfully.
