Christine Kuo has no partner to practice Cantonese

20 Aug – Despite a rising popularity due to her appearance in dramas such as "Tiger Cubs" and "Ghetto Justice 2" and being linked with TVB actor Kevin Cheng, Hong Kong viewers are still hoping that TVB actress Christine Kuo could do something to brush up on her broken Cantonese.

According to Jayne Stars, the Taiwan-born actress was raised in Canada, so she only started learning to speak Cantonese in 2009 when she won the Miss Chinese International Pageant.

However, Christine said that she is not interested in finding a partner, whether it is for love or to help her brush up her Cantonese.

"When you're dating someone you usually expect to be with that person forever, and not because you want to practice Cantonese with him. I'll rather chat with you guys (the media) for practice!" she said.

"Right now, I will place all my efforts in my career," she added, who has been having a popularity boost since the reports about her and Kevin Cheng had been making headlines in tabloids.

Christine would be playing as a medical intern in TVB's upcoming drama "A Great Way to Care 2".
