Daniel Wu puts father's need first
4 Aug – Daniel Wu will be spending more time with his family in the United States, said wife Lisa S. during her recent short trip to Hong Kong.
According to Mingpao News, the supermodel, who returned to Hong Kong on 1 August to attend a promotional event as a spokesperson for a baby formula brand, stated that the actor will not return to Hong Kong for the time being as he is currently busy taking care of his family, especially his grieving father.
"He is doing well and he knows that grieving is part of something that everybody must go through. Right now, his priority is taking care of his father," said Lisa, whose mother-in-law, Diana Ting Wu, passed away back in May.
When asked about Daniel's feeling about the loss, she replied, "I'm not him, so it's difficult for me to tell you exactly how he feels."
However, Lisa added that though the actor has no major projects at the moment, the family has plans to return to Hong Kong in late August.
