Dayo Wong guest stars in "Temporary Family"
29 Jun – After Myolie Wu, who is guest-starring in the upcoming film, "Temporary Family" as Nick Cheung's stewardess girlfriend, another TVB star, comedian Dayo Wong will also make an appearance in the movie, playing Sammi Cheng's ex-husband.
According to a report on HK Top Ten, Dayo revealed that he decided to accept the offer to play the supporting role not only because he and the director, Cheuk Wan Chi are good friends, but also due to the realistic script.
"I read the script and said yes, because I really want to support it," said the actor, who is also a stand-up comedian.
He continued, "Hong Kong's housing issue is absolutely ridiculous. I have discussed this in my stand-up shows too. Hong Kong residents need to have 13 to 14 times their current annual salary to finally be qualified for home ownership."
Meanwhile, Nick Cheung revealed that though it was their first collaboration, he and Dayo already had chemistry as both of them knew each other privately.
"Though we didn't have many scenes together, he studied every scene in great detail with everyone and gave all his effort. It was fun working with him," said Nick.
