Dee Hsu jokes about her Top Pot Bakery case

23 Apr – Taiwanese TV personality Dee Hsu recently made fun of herself and her entanglement in the Top Pot Bakery case last year at the Project WAO concert held last Sunday.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the "Kangxi Lai Le" host was joking with A-Mei on stage and praising her ample bosom, when the latter commented, "Thank you, Dee. I think she seldom leaves her house nowadays."

A-Mei's humorous comment was referring to the Top Pot Bakery case and its parent company Genome International. While her husband Mike Hsu and her father-in-law Hsu Ching-hsiang have been indicted for inside trading, Dee herself suffers the pinch for being the spokesperson of the bakery, which was accused of false advertising and using artificial flavouring.

The candid star then pretended to sob, and replied jokingly, "Yes, I seldom leave the house now. When I got the invitation, I said yes right away since I have a lot of time in my hand nowadays!"

"The other day, I picked up my daughter from school and asked her what she wanted to eat. I felt like crying when she said she wanted red beans bread," she added.
