Denise Ho unfazed with threats of boycott

14 Oct – Hong Kong singer Denise Ho is not affected at all after hearing that there is a danger of her being blacklisted from mainland China due to her support for the Occupy Central Movement.

As reported on Hk Top Ten, the singer, who even joined in the protest in Admiralty several times before, said that she considered the threat dull.

"We are standing up for Hong Kong's conscience, not just for the students. I can't just stand by and watch from afar," she said.

Denise stressed that there are many more things to do rather than making money, and she is not interested to dwell on threats of boycotts.

"I won't be scared just because people are threatening my source of income. As long as it feels right to me, it doesn't matter. I won't mind that much," said the singer.
