Dragon Ash's memorial live tour for IKUZONE

10 June – Japanese rap rock band Dragon Ash will be paying tribute to their dearly departed member IKUZONE, who passed away in April, by holding a special memorial tour which will begin in July, according to Tokyo Hive.

Known as "Dragon Ash Live ~REST IN PEACE IKUZONE~", the highlight of the tour will be the performances by the six remaining members of Dragon Ash performing alongside recordings of IKUZONE and the special video presentation of IKUZONE to be played on a projector screen. Its aim is to illustrate the strong bond between the members and their late bassist.

The first performance will be held at SHIBUYA-AX on 4 July. Previously, the band held the memorial service for IKUZONE at the same place on 6 June. They will then perform at four other locations, which are Zepp Nagoya, Zepp Namba, Sendai Rensa and Zepp Fukuoka.

For those who did not know, Dragon Ash lost their bassist IKUZONE when he passed away at the young age of 46 in April due to acute cardiac insufficiency.

The band will still be attending "ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2012" and "AIR JAM 2012" as planned, with support bassist KenKen from RIZE accompanying them.
