Ekin Cheng wants to get married in space

9 Aug – Hong Kong actress Yoyo Mung has revealed that her boyfriend Ekin Cheng had hoped to have their wedding ceremony in space, according to Jayne Stars.

Although the couple do not have any concrete plans for marriage yet, Mung had shot down the 'out-of-this-world' idea and said that she preferred to have the wedding at home, where she feels most comfortable.

"My wish is to have a simple wedding without a wedding dress, heavy makeup, nor complicated customs. My priority is comfort and simplicity!" said the 39-year-old actress, who has been dating Ekin for six years now.

During an interview, Mung said that she was sceptical about marriage at first since she came from a broken family, but Ekin's attention to her had made her change her mind and she is prepared to tie the knot.

"To find a compatible person for yourself, it is all about fate. Since I've met Ekin, my criteria for my mate have changed. Since I was young, I have been independent and knew how to care for others."

"I thought I needed a man that can take care of others better. But in actuality, I don't need someone to take care of me. I need someone to know how to play and relax with me. And Ekin is that person," she said.

For the practical Mung, she believes that marriage is an important life decision to have someone to love and grow old with, rather than to have a lavish reception.
