Elena Kong can't do her own stunts
21 Apr – TVB actress Elena Kong revealed that her health condition has hindered her from doing her own stunts for her new TVB series, "Line Walker".
As reported on The Sun, the actress who was shooting a scene with Michael Miu and Sharon Chan at TVB City recently, was originally scheduled to film a scene where she and Sharon have to be submerged in water.
However, it was reported that Elena was unable to do her own stunts due to her lung problem and thus required the help of a body double.
When asked about it, Elena corrected the reports saying that it was actually her flu that hampered the scene.
"I had flu and was coughing so badly that it pained my muscles and ribs. I have already started taking Chinese medicine to help me recover quicker, but I can't do strenuous work," said Elena.
Aside from using a stunt worker for the scene, Elena also revealed that she will not be able to run or shout out loud.
"The doctor said that I may get better in two to three months time. Right now I am fine and the shooting will conclude at the end of the month," said Elena, adding that she will be taking a vacation to Southeast Asia after filming wraps up.
