Eliza Sam denies being boycotted

24 June – TVB actress Eliza Sam has debunked rumours saying that she has been boycotted by her "Hot Madam" co-stars due to the preferential treatment she received from director Wilson Chin.

According to a report on HK Top Ten, the actress, who recently returned to Hong Kong after filming in Malaysia, stated that in contrast to the reports of a conflict between her and the other girls, they actually had a lot of fun together.

Eliza said, "I enjoyed spending time with the other six actresses, especially with Joyce Cheng who is also from Vancouver like me. We trained together every day and spent a lot of time with each other."

"I was hesitant to part with them when I had to go home, but luckily, we will reunite for the Hong Kong part of the filming," the actress enthused.

In regards to the rumours that Wilson Chin had given her extra attention and increased her screen time, Eliza said that there is no such thing and that everybody has an equal amount of screen time.

"The movie is about sisterly love, so there is no extra focus on one particular actress," said Eliza.
