Fala Chen music career ending
9 Aug – The music career of TVB actress Fala Chen looks like it's coming to an end as her contract with her label Rising Star Music would be expiring at the end of this month.
According to Jayne Stars, Rising Star Music CEO Herman Ho had confirmed the expiry of Fala Chen's contract, but explained that her short contract with the label was only to fulfil her dream of becoming a singer and was only to last for one album.
He said that it was not feasible for Fala to continue as a singer to promote her debut album, due to her busy schedule as an actress.
However, Ho added that they are now emphasising on promoting Linda Chung and other artists such as Alfred Hui, Joyce Cheng, Elanne Kwong, Super Girls and Jinny Ng.
This came as surprising news as the actress had only launched one album to mark her debut as a singer last month, and she was expected to advance her musical career.
