Fancy riding a Unicorn? Now you can!

Always wanted to see and touch a Unicorn in real-life? Or ride in a unicorn-drawn magic pumpkin carriage? Well then, today is your lucky day.

A local company called The Horse Whispers put up an ad on popular group-buying site Groupon offering one-day Unicorn rides at Ulu Yam, Selangor. According to the good people at The Horse Whispers, the Unicorns are imported from the United States and shoppers are guided by a “fairy god mother with five centuries of experience”.

If you’re on a romantic date, The Horse Whispers also provides an option to purchase a unicorn-drawn magic pumpkin carriage ride through “scenic greenery and streams of dreams also known as Sungai Ulu Yam”. However, in the event of bad weather, they will replace the unicorns with party hat-wearing horses.

And that’s not all: if you’re adventurous (and rich, apparently), The Horse Whispers allows you to purchase multiple Groupon vouchers and combine them for “doublecorns or triplecorns”. Sounds like a really good deal, if you ask us.

But here’s the catch: 1) a Unicorn ride costs about RM9 million (although you save a massive RM11 million thanks to a 58% discount) and 2) Unicorns don’t exist. Ever.

A Groupon insider revealed that the posting is actually an April’s Day 2012 hoax that was pulled, but it still managed to leak out anyway.

So, sorry for getting your hopes high, unicorn-loving people. Maybe some day someone will offer real Unicorn rides, yeah?
