Faye Wong's youngest daughter revealed
29 May – After being protected from the media for so long, finally, the face of Faye Wong and Li Ya Peng's youngest daughter, Li Yan, was revealed for the first time.
According to Groove Asia, on 27 May, Faye Wong's good friend and actress Carina Lau shared a picture she took with the family on her microblog, revealing the much protected seven-year-old to the public.
The actress was among the pop diva's celebrity friends that attended Li Yan's seventh birthday recently, as well as singer Na Ying and husband, Meng Tong. Carina gave her best wishes to the seven-year-old by posting a photo that she and Tony took with the family on her micro blog.
Li Ya Peng then reposted the photo and added his own birthday message for his daughter, saying, "You have lost some things, but also gained some things."
Li Yan reportedly was born with a cleft lip, thus was very much protected by her parents from the public eye. She was recently sent to America for corrective surgery.
Li Yan was also the reason for Faye Wong and Li Yapeng's charity debut, the Smile Angle Foundation that also held its first charity dinner on Li Yan's birthday to raise funds for kids born with cleft lips.
