Francis Ng and his son are new fan favourites
26 Jun – Step aside, Jimmy Lin, there's a new cool daddy in town and his name is Francis Ng.
According to Mingpao News, the Hong Kong actor and his son, Feynman are very likely to become the most beloved father and son team for season 2 of reality TV show "Dad, Where Are We Going?", which premiered on 20 June.
The duo generated a lot of positive online discussion for their unique pairing because Francis, aged 52, is the oldest father among the new group and his son Feynman is only five.
The viewers also praised his parenting style, which has been described as the right balance between work and play.
In the first episode, Francis taught Feynman how to be tough by carrying his luggage down the mountain slope on his own instead of using the mules as assistance.
Even though he displayed his role as a strict parent during the journey, Francis also has a soft side when he gave his son encouragement to make his very first goal during a muddy football game.
He also recently updated his Weibo, saying, "Being a father is hard. I have to perform manual labour even when I'm not on the show!"
