Francis Ng withdraws from reality movie
15 Dec – Hong Kong actor Francis Ng has recently announced that he and son, Feynman has decided to withdraw from the second movie version of "Where Are We Going, Dad?"
In September, Feynman fell down and injured the corner of his left eye while filming the show in New Zealand. Though he received medical treatment, his slow progress of recovery has worried Francis so much that he recently voiced his intention of withdrawing from the upcoming movie.
As reported on China's People Entertainment News, the actor made the decision official as he announced the withdrawal on 10 December, saying, "Feynman's recovery situation is still not ideal. After listening to the doctor's advice and the family's discussion, we have decided not to participate in the movie."
"We apologise for this regrettable development, and we also would like to thank Hunan TV for enabling me and my son to experience so many unforgettable memories. I wish the movie will be a success."
