[Sh*t K-Celebs Say] Gong Yoo Says His Small Face Stresses Him Out

Oh, celebrities. They sure say the darnedest things.

While a small face is considered an attractive feature in Korea, it appears to be a source of stress for actor Gong Yoo.

The actor, who stars in upcoming KBS drama Big appeared on the May 26 broadcast of KBS’ Entertainment Weekly, where he revealed that his small face causes him stress.

During the interview, Gong Yoo pointed to his face and said, “Isn’t there something less manly [about it]? It’s because of this that I look so boyish. When I want to appear tougher [but can’t], I blame [my small face].”

“Even on days like this, when I take photos, it’s an issue of proportions, and of course, as an actor, there are benefits to having a small face and it’s a good thing,” continued Gong Yoo. “Still, it’s not so much that my small face gives me stress, but the area around my jaw is small. That’s why my face looks smaller.”

Big, a romantic comedy drama about a man who swaps souls with a teenage boy, is set to premiere on June 4.
