S.H.E to perform for Spring Festival Gala
14 Dec – It was revealed that popular Taiwanese girl group S.H.E will be celebrating the Chinese New Year with fans in China next year, after deciding that they will appear on CCTV's 2013 Spring Festival Gala.
According to Groove Asia, through their agency, HIM international Music, the girls revealed, "After almost three years, we can finally perform for our Chinese fans once again. We promise to give it our best on that day."
Meanwhile, a representative of HIM International Music also denied a rumour that was reported recently, saying that they have restricted S.H.E from performing as a group prior to the Spring Festival Gala.
According to the rumour, S.H.E also lost potential earnings of approximately TWD 20 million (app. USD 688,800).
The rep clarified, "That's not true. Selina is still recovering from her burn accident. Therefore, no arrangements have been made for S.H.E to perform overseas at the moment."
