Hebe Tian wants to freeze her eggs
18 Nov – Singer Hebe Tian recently shocked the press and fellow S.H.E members when she revealed her intentions to freeze her eggs.
Groove Asia reported that during the press conference for their first new album after two years, "The Flowers Are Blossoming Again", the only single member of the group stated, "I'm indeed considering that [egg freezing], but I've yet to do anything about it."
The 29-year-old stated that she is having thoughts of going for oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing), a new technology that allows a woman's eggs to be extracted, frozen and stored for future use. However, she admitted she has yet to go for the procedure as she is afraid of pain and finds the process too troublesome.
The singer added humorously that she is thinking of "borrowing" the sperm of foreigners so she can have a mixed blood baby.
The singer stated, "I plan to do it when I turn 30 next March, but I still think it's better if love would blossom naturally instead."
