Hoover's Ooover to disband end of this year

4 Aug – Japanese rock band Hoover's Ooover announced that they would be disbanding at the end of this year, after the final performance of their tour in December.

According to Tokyo Hive, the band announced their disbandment on their official website, but they did not give any reasons for their decision.

"We are very grateful for our fans whom have supported us until now. We will do all we can to enjoy ourselves with our last album and remaining lives," the band wrote on the website.

Hoover's Ooover would still be releasing what would be their last album "Yoake no Ban" on 5 September, and would be going on tour in October.

The band's final performance would be on 9 December at Shimokitazawa GARDEN to draw the curtain on their 12-year career.
