Inoue Waka to marry Izuka Ken
25 Apr – Japanese star Inoue Waka will be marrying movie director Izuka Ken on 13 May, which falls on Inoue's 31st birthday.
According to Tokyo Graph, her marriage to the 33-year-old "Arakawa Under the Bridge" television and movie director, is confirmed by her agency, though it's probably not a shotgun marriage since Inoue intends to continue her show business career after the marriage.
Inoue and Izuka were believed to have met when they were working on "Arakawa Under the Bridge" in March last year but maintained a professional relationship. They only started dating after they met each other again during a group meal a couple of months later.
Inoue was also cast in one of Izuka's plays which is currently ongoing until the end of this month.
