IU Goes to the London Olympics to Cheer on Korea’s Soccer Team

On August 2, Samsung Electronics shared pictures of IU at the London Olympics saying, “On August 1 (local time), IU and the Samsung Galaxy Supporters gave a passionate cheer at London’s Wembley Stadium at the Korea and Gabon London Olympics soccer preliminary match.”

The pictures showed IU dressed as a ‘red devil’, the name for fans and supporters of Korea’s soccer team, with the Samsung Galaxy Supporters dressed in wigs and face paintings and holding up various Samsung Galaxy products with different cheers and slogans written on them.

The Samsung Galaxy Supporter will be in London to not only cheer on the Korean athletes but hold various marketing promotional activities for the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note series mobile phones.

Netizens commented, “IU is shining in London”, “IU’s smile alone is enough to bring encouragement to the athletes” and “I only see IU in the picture.”
