IU skips promotion to prepare for tour
5 May – It was revealed that singer IU will forgo the broadcast promotion for her new album to concentrate on her upcoming tour.
As reported on Allkpop website, a representative from LOEN informed, "This is IU's first solo concert, and she is thoroughly preparing for the event to show her fans a near-perfect performance. It's unfortunate, but she will be performing her new song for the first time at the concert."
Her "REAL FANTASY" tour will kick off on 2 and 3 June, and will cover six cities total. The tour will start off at Kyunghee University in Seoul, and continuing in Ulsan, Jeonju, Suwon, Busan, and Daegu.
Meanwhile, the singer will release her new album, "20 Year Old Spring" on 11 May. Her single, "Peach" has already been pre-released and received positive response from the fans.
