Jackie Chan: "I met Leehom's girlfriend"
7 Dec – As rumours about the homosexual relationship between Taiwan-based superstar singer Wang Leehom and Chinese classical pianist Lee Yundi were spreading online recently, "CZ12" star Jackie Chan decided to step up for the singer and proved that the rumours were totally untrue, according to ent.163.com.
Chan has always been an admirer of Leehom's talent and work ethics since working with the latter in the action-comedy "Little Big Soldier" back in 2010.
"Since filming "Little Big Soldier", I still keep in touch with him. We are very close friends," said the 58-year-old action megastar.
When the media questioned Chan on Leehom's homosexuality issues, he revealed that he had met his former co-star's girlfriend before.
"This is a secret between both of us. I can't share it with you. I met his girlfriend. You all have misunderstood Leehom and I always wanted to come out to tell the truth for him, but I can't tell you who the lady is," said Chan.
Ironically, before Chan stood up for his friend, the actor posted pictures of Leehom and Lee holding panda dolls on his own Weibo account, leading to a chaotic discussion on the internet.
"Actually I wasn't the one who posted the pictures, it was done by my colleagues. I heard about the rumours for quite some time, that was why I agreed to let them do the post, make a little joke on both of them," Chan clarified.
