Jackie Chan's "CZ12" scheduled for Dec

22 Nov – It was revealed that Jackie Chan's upcoming action movie, "CZ12" will be released in time for the holidays.

As reported on Popular Asians, the movie will be released on 12 December after taking a year to film and is set in major international locations. It also marks Jackie's final major action movie, although he insisted that it is not the end of his career.

The actor, who has been doing his own stunts since the beginning of his career, stated, "I'm not young any more, honestly. Why do I have to use my own life to still do these kinds of things? I will still do as much as I can. But I just don't want to risk my life and end up sitting on a wheelchair, that's all."

Written, directed, starred and produced by Jackie himself, the story revolves around Asian Hawk (Chan), a treasure hunter who is hired to find the missing bronze-cast heads of the statues looted by the French from the Old Summer Palace in 1860s. These 12 statues of the Chinese Zodiacs are considered to be China's national treasure and four of them are missing.

Other cast include actress Yao Xingtong and Hallyu star, Kwon Sang-woo.
