Jackie: No to "Rush Hour 4"

21 May – Action star Jackie Chan recently expressed his uncertainty about starring in Sylvester Stallone's upcoming "The Expendables 3" while dismissing any hopes of him returning for the fourth instalment of "Rush Hour".

As reported on Contact Music, despite Stallone's disclosure that the "CZ12" director will indeed be joining the franchise, Jackie has recently revealed that while he would love a role in the film, he is currently scheduled to shoot another movie.

The actor stated, ''I cannot promise you anything but let's see what happens. I would love to do it. I love Stallone.''

Jackie also revealed that he was invited to be part of 2012's "The Expendables 2", but had to turn down the part because of another scheduling conflict, stating, ''Sly had invited me to be in "[The] Expendables 2" but I was too busy filming "CZ12" and couldn't make a commitment to the film.''

Meanwhile, when asked regarding rumours of a fourth instalment of his "Rush Hour" movie, that also stars Chris Tucker, Jackie said, "I don't think there will be a "Rush Hour 4". Maybe Chris Tucker and I will start another movie. If people still want "Rush Hour 4", we'll do [it]. But I think it's better for Chris and I to start another series of films.''

In related news, Jackie Chan will be joining mainland actress Fan Bingbing in a new Sam Fell film titled, "Skiptrace".
