Jacky Wu announces end variety show "Guess"

10 Jul – Holding back tears, Jacky Wu has announced to his viewers that his signature variety show "Guess" would be ending very soon after 15 years on the air.

Jacky said it is time to say goodbye to all the audiences. "This television programme is probably appearing quite outdated, so it will be eliminated soon," he wrote on his Weibo page.

He added that he wishes to thank all the viewers for their continuous support in all these years and insisted that "Guess" will always be part of his memories.

After that, he posted another post on Weibo saying that Patty Hou and Aya (former female host of the show) are very sad about the decision made by the television station.

"Guess" is a Taiwanese variety show, currently hosted by Jacky Wu and Patty Hou. The show was nominated twice for "Best Variety Programme".

Jacky Wu and former female host Aya had also won the "Best Host in a Variety Programme" award from two nominations at the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards in year 2008.
