JKT48 to get own theatre

20 Aug – AKB48's Indonesian sister group JKT48 would be opening their official theatre on 1 September, according to Tokyo Hive.

The JKT48 theatre would be located at the FX Shopping Mall in the heart of Jakarta city, and would be the official home of AKB48's first foreign sister group where 24 members of JKT48 would be performing and meeting fans, true to the 'idols you can meet' concept.

JKT48 was formed in November 2011 and they made their first 'theatre' performance at a temporary theatre in May this year.
