Joey Yung and Wang Leehom wins at 2012 MAMA
4 Dec – Joey Yung and Wang Leehom were among the winners at Korea's 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 30 November.
According to Popular Asians website, over forty global stars attended the music event, including international acts such as K-pop sensation PSY, Adam Lambert, and B.o.B.
Although primarily a Korean pop festival, Jackie Chan and the cast of "CZ12" as well as Joey Yung, Wang Leehom and Angelababy also attended.
Joey Yung was named "TVB's Choice," while Taiwan's Wang Leehom won the "Best Asian Artist" award. Wang was quoted telling the press, "Whether it is A, B, or C-pop, now it's just W-pop (World Pop). It's a cultural exchange of the entire world!"
