Jolin Tsai in Paris
3 Feb –Golden Melody Award-winning diva Jolin Tsai recently led Taiwanese singer-songwriter William Wei and electronic techno duo Salamander to the "Taiwan Music Night" in Paris and the singer was coined as the "Asian Madonna" by the French press, according to CTS.
As the last performer at the prestigious concert hall Le Trianon, Jolin, in a NTD$40,000 (app. SGD1700) costume, begun her performance by greeting the fans in French, and followed it with a list of her famous hot-dancing tracks.
"I can't speak French fluently," Jolin told the crowd of 1500 people who went crazy for the singer's astonishing dancing performances.
Meanwhile, Jolin's compatriot William Wei was surprised by the foreign fans' responses as people there were able to recognize him as the singer of Taiwanese hit drama "In Time With You" soundtrack.
