Jun-ho appointed "24 Hour Famine" ambassador

2 Aug - It was revealed that 2PM's Jun-ho has been selected to be the honorary ambassador of the "24 Hour Famine" Programme hosted by World Vision.

Global Mnet website reported that an appointment ceremony for the singer was held in Seoul by the international humanitarian organisation. The 2PM member was quoted saying, "I hope that the children that I help will be able to grow up happily so that they too in turn can become individuals who help others."

Regarding the appointment of Jun-ho, Jun Jae-hyun, Director of World Vision's Sponsor Development stated, "We expect Jun-ho to further spread the positive message of 'sharing' across the globe."

The 24 Hour Famine is a programme that was created in which ordinary people experience the lives of those around the world who are suffering from poverty, disease, and warfare.

In addition to promoting the campaign, Jun-ho also stated that if given the opportunity, he plans to participate in any events under "24 Hour Famine" throughout various Asian countries.

The project will take place on 18 August at City Hall for 24 hours.
