JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun Unable to Receive Hospital Treatment for Car Accident Injuries

The notorious round-the-clock filming schedule of Korean television dramas is becoming an issue once more due to a recent incident involving Park Yoo Chun.

On May 2, Park Yoo Chun’s agency, C-Jes Entertainment, revealed the singer and actor recently experienced a car accident in a van he was a passenger of. In the early hours of April 26, Park Yoo Chun was riding in a van his manager was driving towards the set of SBS’ Rooftop Prince when his manager fell asleep at the wheel and experienced a crash severe enough to dent the front of the van.

Though Park Yoo Chun and his manager didn’t experience any external injuries, Park’s neck and back were revealed to be in pain following the accident. However, to prevent delays in the drama’s shooting and to the cast and crew, he has been continuing to film for five days now without having been to the hospital.

A representative for C-Jes said a check-up at a hospital is planned, but the tight filming schedule is making it unknown when the actor will be able to find time to go see a doctor. It was revealed on the same day of the accident, Park Yoo Chun attended the 48th Annual Paeksang Arts Awards where he received a popularity award as an actor.
