K.Will Sings a Song of Friendship for Jang Dong Gun
Feeling moved by Jang Dong Gun’s close relationship with his friends, K.Will revealed the song he wrote for the actor.
The whiskey brand Imperial, is currently promoting its brand campaign, ‘2012 We Never Go Alone,’ which focuses on thanking friends who have stuck by through thick and thin for many years.
K.Will, through Imperial, found out about Jang Dong Gun’s 10-year friendship with makeup artist Yang Hyung Shim and manager Jung Yong Won and decided to dedicate a song to the actor and the brand.
The lyrics to the song Like Now were written by K.Will after he heard about Jang Dong Gun’s friendship.
The song also included K.Will’s honest thanks to the people who stood by him on his journey as a singer.
He said, “All of us want success and at one point, we’re able to complete all of our goals, but in the moment of success, we have to realize that we are not there because we were alone, but because of the people who understood and helped us along the way.”
Jang Dong Gun is currently the model for Imperial and is acting in SBS’ A Gentleman’s Dignity, a drama rotating around the friendship of four men.
K.Will’s Like Now was revealed on June 11.
