Kanno Miho and Amami Yuki to star in "Kekkon Shinai"

25 Aug – Actresses Kanno Miho and Amami Yuki would be co-starring together for the first time in Fuji TV's upcoming drama series "Kekkon Shinai".

According to Tokyo Hive, Kanno and Amami would be playing bachelorettes who live together in the commentary on the rising number of unmarried women in Japan. Kanno plays as Chiharu, a 34-year-old contract employee who doesn't have a boyfriend and worries that her marriage would end in failure. On the other hand, Amami gets the role of Haruko, a successful gardening planner in her 40s, but is not interested in the idea of getting married.

Their perspective about marriage gets change with the appearance of a 32-year-old part-time florist, played by Tamaki Hiroshi, who has all the qualities of a good husband but is not aggressive in love, and believes himself to be economically and mentally unprepared for marriage.

"Kekkon Shinai" is expected to begin broadcast in October.
