Lai Lok Yi wins HKD 1 million

21 Nov – "Come Home Love" star Lai Lok Yi should be thanking his lucky star. After marrying beauty heiress Nicole Lee last week, the TVB actor has now won the ultimate prize of HKD 1 million (approximately USD 128,932) from the TVB Anniversary Gala's Lucky Draw.

As reported on Mingpao News, the actor, who was smiling brightly as he accepted his prize, said that this is the first time he has won a lucky draw in his 11 years with TVB.

"This is a bonus. It will cover the difference from the cost of the wedding earlier," he jokingly said.

When asked what he will do with the money, the actor replied, "I will hand it over to the wife. She is smart when it comes to managing the finances."
