Lee Da-hae may join "IRIS 2"

29 Sep – With Jang Hyuk already in the list for the sequel of 2009 hit, "IRIS", it was revealed that "Miss Ripley" actress Lee Da-hae is also currently in discussions to play the female lead for the drama.

As reported on Kdramachoa website, Lee's agency revealed that the actress is currently in the last stages of negotiation for the drama, stating "Although we haven't made the final decision on her appearance, we are looking at it in a positive light."

If both Jang Hyuk and Lee Da-hae accepted the roles, this will be their second time together after 2010's hit drama, "Slave Hunter".

"IRIS 2" will take place three years after the the death of Hyun-joon (Lee Byung-hun) and will focus on the story of the arrested Baek-san (Kim Young-chul) and the mysterious Mr. Black who controls Baek-san.

In related news, actor Daniel Henney was also reported to have received an offer to play a role in the sequel. However, the actor is still discussing the details.
