Lin Chi-ling and boyfriend break up

6 Feb – Model-actress Lin Chi-ling has broken up with rumoured boyfriend, Qiu Shi Kai.

According to Asianpopnews website, while attending the premiere of her movie, "101 Marriage Proposals", Chi-ling revealed her single status when asked about her separation with Qiu Shi Kai.

She said, "We do not have that kind of relationship now".

The sexy model also expressed that she would take the initiative to profess her love if she met someone she liked, saying, "I have more courage to pursue love now."

When asked if she had more pursuers at the moment, Chi-ling replied heartily, "Everybody keeps saying that, but nobody is actually acting on it!"

Although never verbally admitting her romance with Shi Kai, Chi-ling's relationship with the businessman is widely speculated. In 2012, the actress admitted that she went on a house hunting trip with Shi Kai in Shanghai, sparking marriage rumours.

Meanwhile, a source revealed that the couple broke up due to Qiu Shi Kai's inflexible personality. The insider claimed that the businessman was also furious that Chi-ling often compared him with former boyfriend, Jerry Yan.

In related news, "101 Marriage Proposals" stars Chi-ling, Huang Bo and Godfrey Gao. The movie tells the love story of an average middle age man and a cellist.
