Linda Chung denies conflict with Philip Ng
22 Sep – Linda Chung has recently dismissed speculations of trouble in paradise with rumoured boyfriend, martial arts actor Philip Ng.
According to On CC News, previously, the rumoured couple was reported to have been in conflict with each other, when Philip allegedly tried to expose their supposedly secret relationship.
While attending a friend's birthday party recently, a slightly drunk Philip tried to wrap his arms around Linda, to which the actress reacted to by moving a few steps away.
He was also spotted trying to feed her some of the dessert and ignored Linda's hints. Angry with the gestures, the actress turned to Philip and glared at him to stop. The couple ended up leaving the event separately.
The incident sparked speculations that Linda was trying to downplay the romance to minimise negative reports during her TV Queen race.
When asked to comment about the issue at a promotional event for her new series "All That is Bitter is Sweet" recently, Linda said, "That was just an expression caught on camera."
The actress said that since it was a friend's birthday party, she didn't want other people to be in the spotlight.
"Everybody was happy that night. There's no conflict whatsoever," she added.
