Linda Chung hopes luck is on her side

23 Sep – With the TVB Awards looming in the corner, last year's TV Queen hopeful Linda Chung has prepared herself physically and mentally to compete for the coveted title.

As reported on On CC News, the actress, who has been a hot contender for the title since last year, reportedly will have a bigger chance this time around through her leading role as a female pharmacist in "All That is Bitter is Sweet".

Even Linda herself felt that the timing is right, saying, "After working in the industry for ten years, I am confident in myself. It should be the time, but I won't give myself too much pressure."

She also admitted to have gained maturity and the ability to handle pressure after losing the award last year to her "Brother's Keeper" co-star, Kristal Tin.

When told that "Line Walker" star Charmaine Sheh is another favourite to win TV Queen, Linda said that it will be an honour to compete with the actress, as she has admired Charmaine since she first started on TVB.

Meanwhile, the actress revealed that her long-delayed action drama "Tiger Cubs II" will be aired in October.
