Lotus Wang, the Taiwanese "Lady Gaga"
23 Jul - Taiwanese star Lotus Wang had recently released her second album, "Show Me the Money" after her first album "Bobee" gained success in Taiwan. The singer dubbed herself as "Taiwanese Lady Gaga" during an interview with Singapore media.
In year 2011, CNN aired the comedian-turned-singer's first single "Bobee" (a remake of T-ara "Bo Beep Bo Beep") sounding similar to Beyonce's hit, "Single Ladies".
The music video was selected as "Best Viral Video of the Week" by CNN producer Phil Han.
Talking about her latest album, she said the album title is in regards to the recession faced by the country. "I hope everyone can gain prosperity after listening to my album", she told a reporter.
Lotus Wang will be joining the "Taiwan Super Concert" taking place at Resorts World Convention Centre, Singapore on 4th August.
