One of our favourite jewellery designers, Monica Vinader has launched SIREN, a new collection inspired by sea-worn antiquities and salvaged treasure.
Flowing lines and simple shapes are characteristic of these elegant pieces, with a focus on the quality of materials. This gorgeous collection sees the return of the distinctive semi precious stone Chalcedony in pale aqua colours, giving the collection an underwater feel, while the brand's trademark use of specially cut gemstones extends to Rose Cut Citrines, White Topaz, Amethyst and Green Onyx.
Each hand-cut facet contrasts with the organic forms of each piece and the collection showcases a wide range of stacking and stone rings, as well as a signet ring that can be personalised using Monica Vinader's newly launched engraving service. However, the collection isn't just gorgeous stacking rings (even though we think they're our fave!) - the hero piece of the range is an undulating stone-set cuff, a hand-made piece that feels both contemporary and a thousand years old in its simplicity.
The collection also includes pendants that mix and match with other collections and much coveted hoop earrings, perfect for everyday chic. The collection will launch in stores in August 2012, including fine sterling silver and 18 carat vermeil, with prices from £80 to £360 - invest now!
