Mandy Lieu admits dating Suncity's Alvin Chau

11 Aug – Hong Kong model-actress Mandy Lieu has recently admitted that she is dating the already married Macau casino tycoon, Alvin Chau.

According to HK Channel, the "Enthralled" actress finally made the confession on 7 August, after she and the Suncity Group owner were spotted attending several functions together and acting lovey-dovey with each other.

In her statement, Mandy expressed her admiration for Alvin and praised him for his "charisma, wisdom and vision".

"I admit that Alvin and I have just started to get to know each other. As to what will happen in future, nobody knows," said Mandy.

However, the actress admitted that she only learned of his marital status from the media and will need time to think through about their relationship.

She also stressed that she adores Alvin for his character, not for his wealth and background.

Meanwhile, Tao Kit, the director of "Enthralled", admitted that Alvin is one of the movie's investor, though denied that Mandy has received special treatment on the set.
