[Video] MC Hammer Gets Down to ′Gangnam Style′ in AMA Rehearsal Video

At age 50, MC Hammer has proven he’s still got it.

After bringing the house down at the American Music Awards (AMA for its finale performance yesterday with MC Hammer, Psy uploaded a new video on his official YouTube account on November 19.

The video shows MC Hammer and his back dancers getting it on to the Gangnam Style, 2 Legit 2 Quit mash-up during a rehearsal. The 1962-born entertainer shows he can still out-dance most any of his younger peers as he drops, locks and does his fancy footwork all across the rehearsal floor.

The rehearsal was shot before MC Hammer and Psy’s much-lauded AMA finale on November 18 (local time) which has quickly become a trending topic online and is regarded by some as the best AMA closing stage in recent years.

During their rehearsal, it seems Psy and MC Hammer have also grown close and respectful of each other with MC Hammer sharing after his performance with Psy, “He’s the fourth one to set the world on fire like that. James Brown, Michael Jackson, Hammer time and Psy.”

Psy humbly responded, “This is too much.”
