Michelle Ye collaborates with Chapman To
21 Aug – Hong Kong actress Michelle Ye recently admitted that her schedule has been quite hectic, working on the fashion reality programme "Muse Dress" and on a new movie as well.
As reported on Tencent Entertainment, the actress revealed that she is currently filming a new movie with controversial actor Chapman To – the first project for the actor who has returned from his month-long overseas trip.
The actor previously angered Chinese citizens over his support for Taiwanese students' Sunflower Movement, so much so that all his recent movies have been boycotted in China, including cameo appearances.
However, according to Michelle, the actor seemed unfazed with all the hate. "He has always been very cheerful and positive."
When asked her opinion about Chapman's previous scandal, Michelle said, "Everyone uses their Weibo differently. As for me, I don't read Netizens' comments and my Weibo account is managed by my agency."
"However, Chapman likes interacting with his Weibo followers, so I'm not entitled to make comments on his ways of communicating," she added.
