Miriam Yeung: I wasn't being hard on my son

11 Aug –The media was quick to portray Miriam Yeung as a strict mother to her son Torres due to an incident that occurred at a restaurant recently. However, the Hong Kong actress clarified that she is not at all as the media claimed her to be.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who was secretly filmed on camera scolding two-year-old son Torres while dining at a restaurant with her family, clarified that she was only explaining things to her son and not scolding him as it was reported.

Speaking to the media at the celebration banquet for the movie "Break Up 100", Miriam said, "I wasn't yelling but merely pointing at him and explaining. I didn't expect it was recorded on camera."

"Torres is a good kid. I rarely have to scold him," she added.

On the other hand, while discussing the sequel for the hit movie, which had surpassed HKD 5 million at the Hong Kong box office, Miriam expressed her hope to continue playing her role as a police officer, albeit with a different love interest this time around.

When asked to name an actor she would like work with, Miriam said, "Maybe Louis Cheung. I saw him on [TVB's] "Black Heart White Soul" and he performed excellently."
