Miyazaki Aoi's next to be "Petal Dance"

10 June – Japanese actress Miyazaki Aoi, best known for playing romanticized characters in "Nana", "Su-ki-da", "Hatsukoi" and "Tada, Kimi o Aishiteru", will reunite with "Su-ki-da" director Ishikawa Hiroshi for a new film called "Petal Dance".

According to Tokyograph, shooting for the film has already finished, and it is a road movie that revolves around four women. Jinko and Motoko have been best friends since college. When they find out that their friend Miki, who lives in northern Japan, had tried to commit suicide by jumping into the ocean, the duo decide to pay her a visit. On the way, they meet another girl, who ends up going along with them.

Miyazaki plays Jinko while Ando Sakura is her best friend, Motoko. Fukiishi Kazue is Miki and Kutsuna Shiori is the girl that Jinko and Motoko picks up along the way. The four of them are not without their own problems, and the short journey will force them to re-examine their lives and grow.
