Moses Chan to venture up north

11 May – It was rumoured that actor Moses Chan will finally gets his chance to work in the mainland market.

According to Jayne Stars, after 13 years of acting solely in TVB dramas, the actor has finally been given the chance to join the ranks of colleagues such as Raymond Lam, Bosco Wong and Kevin Cheng who have made it big in mainland China.

TVB top executive, Virginia Lok stated, "Bosco has already filmed so many TVB series, and hopes to film in mainland dramas and movies for a change. Therefore, TVB is currently negotiating modern and historical dramas in mainland for him."

It was reported that the mainland venture is one of the bargaining tools of TVB in order to get Moses to renew his management contract for several more years, in addition to airing "Will Power" as this year's Anniversary series.

Moses stated, "I have been trying to resist crossing the border to China to film dramas. But now with more time in my hand, I hope that I could try my hands on more Chinese dramas. But I will still continue working in Hong Kong if there are suitable projects."
