Myolie Wu still can be friends with Bosco Wong

16 Aug – Despite breaking-up with boyfriend Bosco Wong, Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu says that she is alright with remaining as friends.

According to Jayne Stars, while Wu was not interested in answering questions about her love life since her recent break-up with Wong after eight years of romantic relationship, she said that she wants to focus on her work and she could still accept him as a friend.

"I will do some self-reflection and think carefully about my future plans. I am quite persistent in love and will do my best to save a relationship. However, this time it failed and ended in a separation. I feel that two people who were in a relationship before can still be friends," she said during a promotional event for "Ghetto Justice 2", where she was spotted with a short-cropped hair.

"The producer of "Triumph in the Skies 2" had requested me to cut my hair. As it took me a long time to grow out my hair previously, I debated whether I should cut it or not. My final decision was to cut my hair because I felt that the haircut suited the new character," she responded on whether her new hairstyle had anything to do with her letting go of her failed relationship.

"I'm happy to be single. I want to enjoy this time," she added.

Meanwhile, Bosco had been suffering the negative effects of the break-up, which many had blamed him as the cause.

Although the director of his upcoming movie "The Woman Above the Bread Tree" had defended the actor by saying that he had not been flirting with his female co-stars, they had been keeping their distance from him to avoid any rumours.
